The Press reaction to Julien Macdonalds unveiling of his spectacular kidswear took the worlds fashion press by storm
Julien’s show, in the dramatic surroundings of One Mayfair, was one of the first to follow in the recent runway footsteps of Burberry, Tom Ford and Michael Kors by showcasing both men’s and women’s collections together. Little did the audience know that the finale spectacular would also see the bride upstaged by two children, closing the show with the first viewing of his range ‘Smile by Julien Macdonald’ designed exclusively for Mothercare.
The front row as always brimmed with celebrities but on this occasion all eyes and lenses were focused on the adorable children that came out for the finale. Coverage of the launch was featured heavily over the weekend in Vogue, Hello, Luxury London, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Telegraph and Times.
